IRDAI Guidelines
POSP Eligibility Criteria
Requirements specified under the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) guidelines.
Minimum Age Requirement
Must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
Educational Qualification
Must have completed 10th standard (SSLC/Matriculation) from a recognized education board.
Valid Identity & Address Proof
Valid Aadhaar Card and Permanent Account Number (PAN Card) are mandatory for IRDAI verification.
Bank Account in India
Active savings/current bank account with IFSC code for receiving monthly commission payouts.
Mandatory 15-Hour Training
Successful completion of IRDAI prescribed 15-hour training and clearing the POSP online assessment.
